Nokia quiere aprovechar bien el mercado de baja gama con modelos muy básicos para ofrecerlos a muy bajo precio, por debajo de 50€ y los operadores los pueden ofertar gratis con una tarifa mínima.
Nos presentan el Nokia 110 junto con el Nokia 111, 112 y 113, los modelos 110 y 112 son de dos SIM para GSM de dos bandas, pero el 110 también tendrá una versión de una sola SIM. Los modelos 111 y 113 són de una sola SIM, GSM cuatribanda.
El Nokia 110 saldrá este segundo trimestre de 2012 a un precio inicial de 35 € y el Nokia 112 a 38 € el tercer trimestre. Estos modelos vendrán con 40 claves de EA Games descargables durante 60 días, parece que los otros dos modelos tambien tendran esta opción según los Data Shets, una vez descargados serán de por vida, además se tendrá acceso a apps del Nokia Store. Es sólo para redes 2G, con Bluetooth, pero sin USB ni Wi-Fi, con plataforma Nokia OS S40 y navegador Nokia Browser, con páginas web comprimidas para que sean más rápidas y económicas. Nos permite escuchar y compartir música, mensajería, Email, Facebook, Twitter, y la facilidad de cambiar de SIM o microSD sin apagar el móvil.
